The beauty and durability of this fascinating leather are not easy to achieve, but due to the abundance of oil stored within the leather, it is not easy to finish a product entirely with Shell Cordovan.
The complete cordovan product line is no longer available due to time constraints, processing requirements, and the limited supply of cordovan, which has not kept pace with demand. However, in August of this year, the full cordovan series was reissued, and all items in the Online Shop sold out immediately. All items in physical stores have also sold out at this time.
Typically, leather darkens with age, but Shell Cordovan leather exhibits a range of color changes. This includes the loss of pigment and lightening due to exposure to ultraviolet rays and other factors, as well as the original variations in color.
When kept away from perspiration and water, its luster becomes more pronounced, and its beauty—like that of a polished jewel—attracts many leather enthusiasts. Additionally, the full cordovan product offers a delightful tactile experience, as the comfortable texture of the leather becomes even more appealing once it has acclimated to its environment.
